NBN Co paid iiNet $110k for new customers - Networking - Technology - News - iTnews.com.au: "Just 18 percent of NBN connections eligible.

NBN Co has paid out just over $110,000 in credits to Australia’s second biggest ISP iiNet to encourage it to sign new customers onto the National Broadband Network.

iiNet has signed on around 5500 new NBN fibre customers since January when NBN Co launched its migration incentive — a $108 payment to ISPs, valid to June 30 this year, to encourage them to move customers off their own infrastructure and onto the NBN. "

Each cow is fitted with a tag in its ear that transmits its location to a digital map of the property.

Pausing briefly to look at the screen, Lamb could see where each cow - represented by a number and an icon - was located on the 2800 hectare farm."

NBN Co launches 25/5 Mbps fixed wireless services - Telco/ISP - Technology - News - iTnews.com.au: "NBN Co has introduced a 25/5 Mbps speed tier to the fixed wireless network, with several ISPs already unveiling retail plans.

The network builder started offering the 25 Mbps service on June 18, having mooted plans to offer the service back in February, it said today."
