NBN statistics reveal many homes can’t connect

NBN statistics reveal many homes can’t connect: "NBN Co has confirmed it has met its June 30 target of homes and businesses that have access to the national broadband network, but more than a third of those premises cannot get the service.

The company said it reached 163,500 existing premises, known as “brownfield premises”, with its fibre optic cabling and a total 207,500 premises once new developments are counted.

But of the brownfield premises, more than 55,000 do not have the necessary equipment to get a service."
